Welcome to Puzzlink. This website, puzzlink.co.uk (the “Website”), and the PVC interlocking floor tiles and related products we sell (the “Products”) are operated and supplied by Goodfish Limited (company number 07341561), trading as Puzzlink (“we”, “our” or “us”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Website or placing an order. They set out who we are, how we sell to you, and your rights and ours. Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Website or place an order.

3. Eligibility

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your account details and password confidential, and for activity that takes place under your account.

4. Our Products

4.1. We describe our Products and show images on the Website as accurately as we can. Images and samples are for illustration. The colour and finish you see on screen may differ slightly from the actual Product depending on your device and screen settings.

4.2. Recycled material characteristics. Products described as recycled are manufactured from post-industrial recycled PVC. Colour, shade and finish may vary slightly between production batches. This is an inherent characteristic of recycled material and does not amount to a fault or defect. To keep colour as consistent as possible, we recommend ordering all the tiles you need for a project in a single order, and dry-laying a mix of tiles from across your delivery before fixing anything in place.

4.3. Our Products are designed for particular uses. We do not guarantee that a Product is suitable for every environment. If you are unsure whether a Product suits your space, please contact us for advice before ordering.

4.4. We offer free samples so you can check the Product before you buy. Samples show a typical example of the colour and finish and are not a guarantee of an exact match to the batch you later receive.

5. Placing an order and how a contract is formed

5.1. When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the Products. Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed between you and us, when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch your order, whichever is earlier.

5.2. If we cannot accept your order, for example because a Product is out of stock, there is an error in the price or description, or we are unable to deliver to your address, we will let you know and will not charge you. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.

6. Price and payment

6.1. Prices are shown on the Website in pounds sterling and are displayed both excluding and including VAT. The price you pay is the price shown at the point you place your order.

6.2. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown before you complete your order.

6.3. We take reasonable care to make sure prices are correct. If we discover an error in the price of a Product you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue at the correct price, or to cancel. We are not obliged to supply a Product at an incorrect price.

6.4. Payment is taken through our secure payment providers. We do not store your full card details.

7. Delivery

7.1. Delivery timescales, charges and methods are set out in our Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7.2. Orders above a certain size are delivered on a pallet. If your delivery address has restricted access, please tell us when you place your order so we can plan the delivery.

7.3. Risk in the Products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.

8. Your right to cancel (consumer cancellation rights)

8.1. If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You may cancel from the moment you place your order up to 14 days after the day you receive the Products. In addition to this legal right, we offer an extended change-of-mind returns window of up to 30 days as a goodwill gesture, as set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.

8.2. To cancel, tell us clearly before the cancellation period ends, by email to [email protected]. You then have a further 14 days to return the Products to us.

8.3. Products must be returned unused and in a resaleable condition. Please note that tiles which have been laid, fixed, cut or installed are unlikely to be resaleable, and this may reduce any refund to reflect the loss in value, or mean the Products cannot be returned for a refund under this clause. This does not affect your separate rights if the Products are faulty or not as described (see clause 9).

8.4. Unless the Products are faulty or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning them to us.

8.5. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the Products back, or of you providing proof that you have sent them, whichever is sooner. Full details are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Faulty or misdescribed Products

9.1. We are under a legal duty to supply Products that are as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9.2. If a Product is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, please contact us at [email protected] with your order details and, where possible, photographs. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund.

9.3. The slight batch to batch colour variation described in clause 4.2 is a natural characteristic of recycled material and is not treated as a fault.

10. Installation and use

10.1. Our tiles are supplied as a DIY interlocking system that can be laid, lifted and repositioned by hand without adhesive. Please follow our installation guidance, including allowing the tiles to acclimatise and leaving the recommended expansion gap.

10.2. You are responsible for measuring your space and ordering the correct quantity. Our online calculator is provided to help, but final measurements are your responsibility.

10.3. Before fixing tiles permanently or laying across a large area, we recommend dry-laying a mix of tiles to check the layout, quantity and colour.

10.4. If you choose to have your floor fitted professionally, that is your decision and any fitting or labour costs are your responsibility. This does not affect your rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed Products under clause 9.

11. Intellectual property

11.1. All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images and software, is owned by Goodfish Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

11.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display or create derivative works from the Website’s content without our prior written consent.

12. Our liability to you

12.1. We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any breach of your statutory rights in relation to the Products.

12.2. If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable at the time the contract was made.

12.3. We are not liable for losses that arise because you did not follow our installation guidance, or that you could have avoided by taking reasonable steps, for example by checking quantity and colour before fixing or installing the Products.

12.4. If you are a business customer, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity, and our total liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the price of the Products in that order.

13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures in performing our obligations that are caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier failures, transport disruption, extreme weather, or similar events. If such an event occurs, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Website and your orders are also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

15. Website access

We may suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the Website for business or operational reasons, and we will try to give you reasonable notice where we can. We are not always liable if the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date it took effect. Orders are governed by the Terms in force at the time you place them.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will fall under the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the part of the UK in which you live.
